My daughter is a foodie too!
Sadly this Mother’s Day she wasn’t able to make it home from San Francisco.
Yesterday, the doorbell rang and inside a little brown box was this beautiful package.
Inside this package was a incredible array of chocolates…
And inside this box of chocolates was a delightful little white chocolate mouse!
Oh my! Look at this box of delectable goodness.
The handmade chocolates are from L.A. Burdick. My daughter saw them on Martha Stewart.
The box comes with a guide to the chocolates…
Thank goodness for I hate squeezing their bottoms!
If I may indulge you in some of the flavors that lay before me this weekend…
Baton Framboise – Dark chocolate and raspberries cut in thin batons. Sprinkled with chopped pistachios.
Brazilia – Dark chocolate ganache with espresso, a touch of kirsch and anise seed.
Fig – Dark chocolate interior with a balance flavor of fig and port wine.
Richlieu – A milk and dark chocolate interior with cherry liquor, cherries and cumin seeds.
Lemon Pepper Truffle – Dark chocolate, pepper, lemon, cream and rum, dusted in cocoa powder.
Oh my, my, my.
Where to start?
I can promise you this – I’m not sharing, I’m hiding the box and the little mousie goes last. It’s just too darn cute!
Wishing you the sweetest of Mother’s Day!
