I love a good challenge! I have been invited to participate in Saucy Mama’s recipe contest!
Last week I received a delightful little package of Saucy Mama’s mustard which included Hatch Chili flavor, Creamy Garlic and Dill. It’s a fun contest where 25 bloggers submit an appetizer recipe using one of these delicious mustards…
I had fun tasting them as I planned my appetizer recipe using one of these mustards – but wait! I had to wait for the secret ingredient…
The secret ingredient is BACON! Oh – I was ready and knew exactly what I was going to make. I brought out my favorite cheese biscuit recipe and started playing around. Adding bacon and Saucy Mama’s Creamy Garlic Mustard took these little delights over the top!
This recipe is so easy – everything is made in the food processor until the end when you add the cheese and bacon…
Roll out the dough and cut out with your favorite cutter – I love my little heart cutter!
These little biscuits are savory, bacon-y with a hint of garlic and mustard. They are the perfect companion to your cheese and fruit plate.
They freeze well if they make that far! Enjoy!
