December 21st
Oops~time slipped away from me these past few months. ‘Tis the season I guess. Here’s some of what I’ve been up to! Happy Holidays my friends!
Decorating began the week after Thanksgiving. This year we decided to try a ‘real’ tree.
I hosted a Holiday Open house the first weekend in December. Making jewelry is my other part time job…
You can see more of my creations here. I don’t sell on etsy. I do shows and private appointments. I prefer working with people in person…I find it more rewarding!
We celebrated our 9th anniversary and went to one of our favorite places – Biloxi, Mississippi on a quick trip to celebrate!
We had fun, got dressed up and celebrated our life and marriage.
Back home, more decorating, gift buying and cooking.
I am thankful for my life -
:: my dear husband who lets me follow my creative spirit and heart
:: my daughters who are blossoming into beautiful young women and are beginning to carve out their life
:: my step-daughters who have added more joy and love into my life
:: my grandkids who keep me silly and young
:: my Mom and Dad who I thank God for every day that they are still with us
:: my sisters who are my co-caretakers in my aging parents
:: my friends who love me, nurture me, help me grow and give me a slap upside my head when I need it
:: my creative endeavors: photography, cooking, writing and jewelry making. I’m doing what I love.
:: and God, who gently guides me everyday.
Happy Holidays my dear friends. Make the new year bring you magic!
Since beginning this blog, I have greatly neglected my other blog where I would share my photos of places and faces. This is the new spot where you will find my favorite photos of the week.
