Spaghetti and Meatballs

- ½ cup olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 6 oz. can of tomato paste, with 1 can water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 28 oz. can tomato puree with 1 can water
- 1 28 oz. can tomato sauce
- ½ tsp. baking soda
- MEATBALLS:
- 1 lb. ground turkey
- 1 lb. ground round
- 2 tbs. fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tbs. onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup unseasoned bread crumbs
- ¾ cup Parmesan cheese
- ⅔ tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. pepper
- 5 eggs
- SAUCE:
- Saute garlic in oil until brown.
- Add tomato paste and saute until the paste absorbs the garlic and oil.
- Add other ingredients.
- Simmer on low heat for at least one hour.
- Add meatballs and cook until done.
- MEATBALLS:
- Combine all ingredients in stand mixer or by hand.
- Form into meatballs and brown in oil in skillet.
- Add to sauce until completely cooked.
