Perfectly Poached Eggs

I love poached eggs.

I eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

There is so much you can do with them!

The problem I always have with poached eggs is when I poach them in water, they get weird…

strings of white floating in the water…

doesn’t do much for the presentation.

I found the coolest kitchen gadget this weekend at Crate and Barrel.

Silicone poaching cups and boy are they easy to use!

You simply spray with cooking spray and crack an egg in them…

Place in a pot of covered boiling water, wait five minutes and…

Voila!

Perfectly formed, perfectly cooked EGGS!

Love, Love, Love!

Today I served mine on a slice of toasted rye bread with sauteed spinach and tomatoes dashed with a bit of garlic salt and Penzy’s Italian Seasoning.

Yum.

So good.

So easy.

You’ll be hearing a lot about eggs in the next week for I’m on an egg kick!

Happy Weekend!
