A Trilogy of Salsas

I’m doing my first food demonstration at a local garden center, Graf Growers. Summer salsas are the theme and what better way to celebrate the flavors of the season?

There is so much you can do with salsas…

So many flavor combinations…

So much flexibility…

Hundreds of combinations, but for tonight we’ll start with three.

A delightful, light-full combination of Red Haven Peaches, red onions, red peppers and avocados topped with cilantro and lime juice.

This salsa would be a great accompaniment to your favorite fish or chicken dish.

Or as my friend Amanda likes it – with cinnamon sugar pita chips!

Salsa number two is rich with rinsed black beans, chunks of mango, green pepper, green onions and plum tomatoes.

What makes this salsa a little different is the Italian vinaigrette dressing, chili powder and hot sauce.

A little pizzazz one would say….

You can load up your tortilla chips but personally I think I would like this on a boneless pork loin chop….

Rubbed in cumin…

You know what I’m talkin’ about…

Lastly, we can not forget the traditional Tomato Salsa…

I need not tell you what to do with this…you already know.

Oh ’tis the season to make these delicious salsas…

Fresh tomatoes…

Fresh peppers…

Fresh cilantro…

Fresh onions….

What are you waiting for?

Scoop it up!

The Trilogy of Salsas Recipes are here…don’t be afraid to switch it up and play with the recipes.

I ‘d love to know what you came up with!
